Do you have a favorite climate-related poem or song you’d like to share with others? Something created by you or by someone else to express fear, grief, compassion or hope for our suffering Mother Earth? Our local monthly Climate Conversations series will resume on January 18 with a special open mic evening of poetry, spoken word and song. Creative expression can be a deeply supportive tool for helping us navigate the strong and difficult emotions that arise in response to crisis. Let’s come together in the liminal space inspired by art and heart. All voices are welcome! Note: Sharing something is not a requirement for attendance.
6:30-7:15pm - plant-based potluck 7:15-7:30pm - meditation 7:30-9pm - open mic (shares limited to 5 minutes) No advance registration necessary, but do email charity (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you’d like to share a poem or song etc.
